Description
Controlled defects of three different types were monitored with acoustic emission during six (6) hydrotests of a 5450' length of disused gas transmission line. AS was measured with ten (10) sensors spaced at 500' intervals, backed up by two (2) sensors at 67' spacing, close to the defects.
